Bloomfield, CT – Amerifit Nutrition, Inc. has been acquired by Charterhouse Group, Inc. a New York-based private equity firm.
Amerifit Nutrition, already a leading developer, marketer and distributor of a variety of branded, natural, non-prescription products including Estroven®, a complete line of women’s wellness products; Vitaball®, a leading children’s multi-vitamin, Sootherbs®, natural cough cold remedies and Flex Able®, joint health products, will now target other leading nutritional supplement and natural personal care brands that focus primarily on addressing conditions of aging.
Amerifit Nutrition’s new CEO, Cyrill Siewert, formerly the President of Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, a Division of the Colgate Palmolive Company, said, “I believe there is substantial opportunity to bring leading brands in the natural wellness category under a common infrastructure to free up resources in order to aggressively invest and build brands.
