AMERIFIT NUTRITION® PRODUCTS RECEIVE NSF CERTIFICATION

Bloomfield, CT – NSF International (www.nsf.org), the Public Health and Safety Company™ announced last month the certification of multiple Amerifit Nutrition, Inc. products. The products receiving certification include Estroven®, Extra Strength Estroven, Estroven PMS, Sootherbs™ Zinc, Echinacea & Vitamin C lozenges, and Flex Able® Orange Drink Mix and Chewables products.
Amerifit Nutrition successfully completed all requirements of the NSF American National Standard 173-Dietary Supplements, the standard on which the NSF Dietary Supplement Certification Program is based. Requirements of the standard include label and formulation review, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) plant audits, product testing, safety evaluation and ongoing monitoring to ensure continued conformance.
“Achieving NSF dietary supplement certification has been a major initiative in our quality assurance program,” said Craig R. Larsen, Amerifit Nutrition’s Director of Product Integrity. “We targeted NSF certification because of its stringent facility and testing standards, and the depth and breadth of its entire quality program. We appreciate the detail, the follow up and the scrutiny our products went through for this certification.”
